Key Questions

* ‘How do I recognise the Orders arising in a systemic issue, and then use them correctly as tools of navigation and resolution?’

* How can I apprehend the meaning of particular phenomena that arise when I am constellating?

The ability to answer questions like this, along with others are critical for the facilitation of effective systemic work.

Who is it for?

This course is for anyone who wishes to gain a fuller understanding, from a systemic constellation perspective, of the issues and concerns that they may have in their everyday life – this may be personal, familial or professional.

What you will learn/develop

In wayfinding, we need, first, to be aware of the geography in our immediate location and then utilise the appropriate navigational tools to reach a destination. In systemic work the Orders provide the navigational compass. The Orders offer potential direction for purposeful movement in the systemic field. Like the cardinal directions on an everyday compass face, the Orders of the Systemic Conscience indicate possible directions of travel.

A compass has, as well as its horizontal face, a more rarely discussed depth dimension; this can be revealed by disregarding the directional letters and numbers on the compass face and instead focusing on what a compass fundamentally reveals: alignment. In the case of a physical compass, the alignment is with the earth’s magnetic field, and, it turns out, in the case of a metaphorical constellation-compass, the alignment is with the felt Truth of the client or their representative. From this perspective understanding the Orders in systemic work is an experimental and ever deepening and on-going practice of refinement for all facilitators.

During this pair of sessions students and practitioners of systemic work will explore this deeper practice of creating a client-oriented navigated walk through systemic space. These sessions will attend to the kind of information needed for compass-building and uncertainty reduction; the sessions will also offer a time-limited practice space.
